Coast and Castle walk

Castle and Coast walk in Somerset.

I started my walk from Lilstock car park today, I picked up the new trail from the South West coast path heading towards Nether Stowey, it's a pretty flat walk through fields and paths, pretty well signposted, but you do have to guess in places

The walk takes you through Storgursey, and

the impressive castle ruins, it's on my doorstep but I've never seen it 🤔

A gentle walk to the village of Nether Stowey about 6 miles ISH, coffee in the national trust Coleridge cottage tea rooms, then the walk back to Lilstock, slightly different route this time, picking up the path back near Burton.

12 miles the Knees are still sore after my recent 26 mile charity walk, but it's nice to be back out again, enjoying what's around me.
